Paralympian secures sponsorship deal for Rio 2016 bid

She is to be sponsored by Milton Keynes-based employee recognition and engagement specialist P&MM Motivation.

The 14-year-old (pictured) from Milton Keynes competed in the London 2012 Games and narrowly missed a medal position having beaten the world no.1 fencer in the quarter-finals.

She was one of the youngest athletes to take part in the Games.

P&MM is based at Linford Wood. Executive director John Sylvester said: “After the successes last year in London, athletes have become the ultimate source of inspiration. Gabi showcases all manner of personal traits that employers would love to see grow within every member of staff in their team.

“We can see that the dedication and commitment to achieving great things is something that is as important to this 14 year old as it should be for employers across the UK, which is why we are proud to support Gabi on her road to Rio 2016.”
