Music giant Marshall Amplification hosted this year’s Has MK Business Got Talent event in the theatre at its Bletchley factory, with 13 acts performing in front of a cheering audience of around 300 people.

Music came from bands representing law firm Dentons, IMS Evolve, SMC Pneumatics, Milton Keynes College and Asgard Media, as well as musicians from event organiser Baker Tilly.

Other acts includesd a barn dance called by staff from hydraulic access platform manufacturer Niftylift, magician Stephen Baker, of Baker Tilly, and a set from professional comedian Jimmy James Jones.

Milton Keynes Community Foundation and Arts Gateway MK – which both entered bands into the event – are to split the £5,000 proceeds from the evening.

Baker Tilly’s Milton Keynes office managing partner Terry Saunders said: “It was a remarkable event and shows just how the local businesses can come together in a creative manner to support the local community.

"After the first event we wondered how we could grow, but thanks to Marshalls we had everything we needed to put on a professional show. We look forward to next years event, with some new faces gracing the stage.”
