The PCA Legends XI, representing the Professional Cricketers Association Masters, will (subject to fitness) include Mark Ramprakash, Matthew Hoggard, Paul Nixon, Alex Tudor, Devon Malcolm and Neil Fairbrother.

Earlier in the day, Stony Stratford will also play a team from MK Dons FC, including club manager Karl Robinson along with players, staff and guests of the club.

The Festival will raise funds for the further expansion and development of the Cricket Club and will benefit its chosen charity partner, the Parks Trust.

Stony Stratford CC chairman Mike Smith said: "We are delighted to be able to host such a fantastic Festival of Cricket at Campbell Park and the opportunity for the club and for sports fans across Milton Keynes to come and see a team of ex-England internationals in the heart of our city is a wonderful one.”

Briony Fox, head of community engagement at The Parks Trust, said: “We’d like to thank Stony Stratford Cricket Club for choosing us as their partner for this fantastic event. The income we receive will be invested into caring for our 5,000 acres of parks in Milton Keynes so, as a self-financing charity, it’s great for us to benefit from the Festival.”

The early plans for the day will commence with a Junior Cricket Tournament before the PCA Masters team arrive to sign autographs and provide a fantastic coaching experience for some of our junior players.

A full hospitality event will then run alongside the first T 20 game of the afternoon, with MK Dons taking on the Host Club. The main event will commence mid-afternoon and will see Stony Stratford Northants County Premiership Team take on the England PCA Legends Team.

Advanced tickets are now on sale at £15 for Adults and £5 for Children under 16 with a Family ticket also available. Visit www.theparkstrust.com.
