Casino operator wins award for community work

Chief operating officer Richard Noble (pictured) said: “We are firmly committed to the belief that our casinos are integral contributors to the communities in which they operate and we actively encourage a collective approach to ensuring our customers can enjoy gambling in our casinos safely and enjoyably.”

Aspers runs a Community Action for Responsible Gaming initiative in every city that has one of its casinos. The scheme aims to tackle gambling issues in the community and comprises representatives of gambling charities, religious bodies and community groups.

The Milton Keynes group is already working ahead of the casino’s opening in Xscape in the autumn. Aspers MK general manager Nigel Hartland said it had already drawn positive support.
