Awards celebrate business strength

The firm, which has offices in Milton Keynes, Luton, Northampton and is to open a further base in Bedford later this year, collected the Business Strategy and Million-Plus Business Growth awards before being named the recipient of the overall Business Excellence Award.

More than 90 business people from all over Bedfordshire attended the event, organised by Conquest Business Events and staged at the Bedford Swan Hotel.

The event was opened by Alistair Burt, the Conservative MP for Bedfordshire North East, who paid tribute to the efforts of small businesses around the county. He told guests at the ceremony: “You represent the engine of this country and making sure that the small business sector is working properly is a key part of where this country needs to go.”

Pam Woods, of Conquest Business Events, paid tribute to the high quality of entries in all ten categories. She said: “These awards celebrate the strength in depth of local business. The quality of entries was extremely high and I particularly liked the fact that they came from such a wide variety of businesses.”
