Cartwright King and Oxfordshire solicitors Macnab Clarke are merging as part of Cartwright King’s continued expansion drive.
The deal, which takes effect from July 1, sees Cartwright King secure a new presence in the South, with an office in Oxfordshire for the first time. This takes the firm’s portfolio to 18 offices nationwide, including Milton Keynes, Bedford, Luton, Northampton and Wellingborough.
The move brings one new director, Kate Macnab, and eight staff – taking Cartwright King’s newly enlarged firm to over 260 employees.
As well as reinforcing the firm’s criminal law reputation, particularly in the area of fraud, the merger will also see Cartwright King expand its motoring law team.

The merger follows on the heels of a deal that has united Cartwright King with North West law firm Garstangs Burrows and Bussin.
Earlier this year cartwright King merged with the First Law Partnership to become one of the largest criminal defence firms in the country.
