Around 40 people attended a breakfast seminar at University Centre Milton Keynes to listen to Lars Lindstedt (pictured) from Microsoft UK and Mike Morris from CISCO.
Organiser Aditya Gupta, head of IT and computing at Milton Keynes College, said: “It was a really enjoyable morning, and I’m sure that everyone took away useful information that they will be able to use to help their own businesses.
"These are difficult economic times and it is vital to keep abreast of technological change to give your business a competitive edge.”
The speakers gave information about new emerging technologies, with Microsoft speaking about how it can help firms develop marketing strategies and CISCO focusing on the new equipment available.
Businesses also heard about the variety of ways Milton Keynes College can support them through their training, technology and management needs.
