Design firm earns a UK first

Bonfire Design, based in Ampthill, has been awarded Design Association accreditation for meeting a set of criteria considered as markers of best practice in the industry.

Bonfire Design founding creative partner Stephen Judge said: "It has given us a motivational boost and throughout the five-stage assessment a greater focus on what we do, and how we do it. The accreditation has been very important to us for the future development of the company."

The Chartered Society of Designers started the initiative to ensure the highest professional standards from its membership in both design of the business’ and ‘the business of design’. The body represents designers from all disciplines in 34 countries around the world.

Bonfire Design has worked on projects including Compass Group division Leith’s branded communications guidelines; a national integrated advertising and direct mail campaign for Paxar and the annual report of Connexions Bedfordshire and Luton.

Co-founder Jason Pearce added: "To have achieved DA accredited status, and to be the first in the UK, is something we are all very proud of."
