The offer comes from Abbot Fire Group, based at Gawcott near Buckingham, and is aimed at local community and not-for-profit events.
The firm is already supporting events being run by Buckingham Town and Maids Moreton Parish Councils. Director Nigel Walton (pictured) said: “It is always a pleasure to see people enjoying bonfire and firework displays; however safety is an important part of the celebrations for both the organisers and those who attend.”
Abbot Fire Group has run the scheme for seven years. Up to eight extinguishers per event will be loaned to the first callers to ring Abbot Fire Group on 01280 824111.
