Youth project seeks new chair and trustees

A CHARITY working with young people is seeking a new chair and trustees to lead its next phase of development.

Action4Youth is keen to hear from anyone interested in changing  the lives of young people through a range of fun and challenging programmes and initiatives.

The organisation, based in
Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes but reaching young people across the wider South
East region, is currently in a period of growth as it increases its influence
and reach.

The departing chair Ken
Birkby has 30 years of knowledge and experience in working as a board to govern
and direct how a charity is managed and run.

“I would say to anyone thinking of applying to the position of chair or trustee to have a close look at what the charity is doing and speak to young people and perhaps their parents,” he said. “You will not fail to be enthused by the work being done and the obvious impact on the young people.

“The Action4Youth team exudes enthusiasm, professionalism and total commitment. You will want to be a part of it.”

If you would like to be
part of a supportive, driven, committed team whose desire to achieve is matched
by an intention to enjoy work on a day to day basis, send your CV and a
covering letter outlining what skills and experience you would bring which
would enrich our Board to Kathryn.hobbs@action4youth.org by May 30.

Please state if you are applying to be chair or a trustee. Further details and role profiles are available at http://www.action4youth.org/jobs/.
