Business says that it has become negative and should focus on the quality of what will be planned. A motion at the latest Local Strategic Partnership meeting to reject all six growth options proposed by Milton Keynes Partnership was defeated only by 13 votes to 11.
Chamber chief executive Sean Hickey said: “Business is concerned about some of the plans but would not wish that to be interpreted as anything other than positive about the city going forward.”
