A Silverstone sustainability consultancy says winning a King’s Award for Enterprise has accelerated its international growth, helping the business secure new overseas clients and expand its global footprint across the sports sector.
Enovation Consulting, which is based at Silverstone Park, received the King’s Award for International Trade after demonstrating rapid overseas growth. Since the recognition, the company has seen increased demand from international sports organisations seeking structured, data-driven approaches to sustainability.
Founded in 2018 by Cristiana Pace, Enovation Consulting works with sports rights holders, venues and governing bodies to integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices into long-term business strategies. While the consultancy began in motorsport, its work has since expanded into football, tennis, sailing, athletics and large-scale sporting events.
Cristiana said the award had acted as a catalyst for further growth rather than a finishing point. “The King’s Award gave us additional credibility in international markets,” she said. “It has helped open doors with organisations that are serious about embedding sustainability in a meaningful, measurable way.”
International expansion from a Silverstone base
Over the past year, Enovation Consulting has increased its international trade across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. As a result, the business has secured new contracts with global sports federations, professional clubs and major event organisers.
The consultancy now supports more than 60 organisations worldwide, providing services including sustainability strategy development, carbon footprint measurement, ESG reporting, circular economy initiatives and support with ISO and FIA environmental accreditations.
Cristiana, a former Formula One engineer, said the company’s engineering-led mindset continues to set it apart. “We apply the same performance-driven thinking used in elite motorsport,” she said. “That approach resonates with international sports organisations that want practical solutions, not box-ticking exercises.”
A unique position in sports sustainability
Although the King’s Award was announced previously, Enovation Consulting remains the only sports sustainability consultancy to have received the honour. The business is also B Corporation-certified, reinforcing its commitment to balancing commercial success with environmental and social impact.
The King’s Award for Enterprise is the UK’s most prestigious business award and recognises organisations that demonstrate outstanding achievement in international trade. Successful companies can use the official King’s Award emblem for five years.
