The corporate team in the firm’s Milton Keynes office has advised on a string of deals since the beginning of the year.
This includes advising Lloyd’s Register on their acquisition of Guardian Marine Testing Ltd and a series of acquisitions of companies involved in the construction and operation of wind farms for Sovereign Renewables Acquisition.
They have also advised on the fifth acquisition in two years by powered access platform provider AFI-Uplift – which has a base at Bleak Hall in Milton Keynes – of a business servicing customers in the southern counties of England, having worked on their £82 million refinancing in 2014 to facilitate this expansion.
The Milton Keynes lawyers also worked with insolvency practitioners BRI Business Recovery and Insolvency on a disposal estate and letting agency Christopher Pallet Thame.
This transaction completed within 48 hours of instruction due to the impending liquidation of the business.
