Woodfines Solicitors has promoted Denise Higgins to equity partner, marking a significant step in the firm’s senior leadership team.
Denise, who joined Woodfines in 2005, has built her legal career at the firm and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2009. Since then, she has developed extensive experience in family law, with a focus on cases involving children.
In particular, Denise specialises in complex public law proceedings. She is recognised for representing both parents and children in sensitive cases. As a result, she was appointed team leader of the firm’s Child Care team in 2025.
Her promotion to equity partner reflects both her legal expertise and her contribution to the firm’s growth across the Oxford-Cambridge corridor.
