Accountancy and advisory firm MHA has been named Best Newcomer of the Year at the AIM Awards 2025, recognising its standout performance following one of London’s biggest IPOs of the year.

The event, held at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London and run in association with the London Stock Exchange, celebrates quoted companies that have harnessed AIM to achieve strong growth over the past twelve months.

Since joining AIM in April, MHA’s share price has climbed more than 40% above its float price. The listing raised nearly £100 million, marking the largest AIM IPO by deal volume in 2025.

Chief financial officer Steve Moore said the recognition reflected the firm’s confidence and resilience. “We decided to proceed with our IPO despite market uncertainty. I’d like to thank our partners Cavendish, Freeths, Crowe, One Advisory and Alma for helping us get over the line,” he said.

Chief executive Rakesh Shaunak added: “This award is a great recognition of our long-term strategy of stability and growth. We’re grateful for the market’s and media’s support in this next stage of our journey.”
