The return of Your Business Expo Bedford this autumn will feature exclusive updates on the region’s biggest investment project in decades — the arrival of Universal Studios in Bedford.

The exhibition takes place on Thursday 9 October 2025 at Bedford International Athletic Stadium. More than 70 exhibitors and hundreds of visitors are expected to attend the event, which is supported by Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce.

Justin Richardson, chief executive at Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce, will host a seminar titled Universal Studios Bedford: What It Means for Local Business and How to Be Ready. He will share the latest details on the multi-billion-pound project and the opportunities it presents for local companies across the supply chain.

“Universal’s investment is a once-in-a-generation opportunity for Bedfordshire,” said Justin. “Thousands of jobs will be created, and the procurement opportunities are vast. Businesses need to start preparing now to make sure they can benefit.”

The seminar will also feature Kirsty Maynard of THSP, who will outline five practical steps to becoming tender ready, giving firms the tools to compete for contracts linked to the project.

Alongside the headline sessions, the expo programme includes:

  • Exhibition Hall with 70+ stands (10am–3pm)

  • Free seminars and workshops throughout the day
