Milton Keynes digital marketing agency Global Exposure has completed its first acquisition after buying Buckinghamshire web design business Jo&Co, marking the start of what the company says will be a wider expansion strategy.
The acquisition, completed in May, brings Jo&Co’s web design and hosting clients under Global Exposure’s management. Existing hosting infrastructure and support arrangements remain in place, with Jo&Co founder Joanna Craig assisting during an eight-week transition period before stepping away.

Founded in 2019, Global Exposure said the deal is the first in a planned programme of acquisitions aimed at expanding its client base and strengthening its presence in the SME market.
Reece Hussain, managing director of Global Exposure, said the acquisition represented an important milestone for the business.
“This acquisition is the first step in our expansion strategy,” Reece said. “We’re acquiring established client relationships and presenting them with access to proven marketing solutions they didn’t have before, alongside website support and hosting.
“Jo&Co’s clients remain on familiar hosting infrastructure with the same support they’re used to. What’s new is the opportunity to partner with us on growth.”
Jo&Co has built its web design business over the past 16 years, serving clients across Buckinghamshire and beyond. Joanna said ensuring those clients would continue to receive the same level of service was a priority when choosing a buyer.
“I was rigorous in selecting a partner for my clients, and Global Exposure passed every check,” Joanna said. “They understand what matters to my clients and have committed to looking after them with the same care I’ve given them over the past 16 years.”
More than 150 web design and hosting clients have transferred to Global Exposure as part of the acquisition. The company said the transition has been completed without disruption to customers, with hosting services remaining on the same infrastructure. It also confirmed that no jobs were created or transferred as part of the deal.
Reece said the agency intends to pursue further acquisitions of complementary businesses as part of its long-term growth strategy.
