The Overt STEM Awards have extended their entry deadline to 16 January 2026, giving businesses, educators, individuals and community groups across the Oxford–Cambridge Growth Corridor a final opportunity to enter. With the new deadline approaching quickly, organisers are encouraging last entries to be submitted in the coming days.
The Overt STEM Awards celebrate STEM innovation across science, technology, engineering and mathematics, recognising achievement, collaboration and impact across the region. There are 22 award categories, designed to reflect the diversity of work taking place across business, education and the community.
The awards build on growing Milton Keynes STEM activity and support wider collaboration across the Oxford–Cambridge Arc. Finalists will gain regional visibility and help showcase how innovation is contributing to economic growth and skills development.
All finalists will be recognised at an awards ceremony in Milton Keynes on 3 March 2026, where winners will be announced. The ceremony will bring together peers, partners and potential collaborators from across the corridor.
On the same day, Overt STEM will also host the region’s first STEM summit at MK Conferencing in Milton Keynes. The STEM summit will bring together leaders from business, education, government and community organisations for discussions, workshops and live debate focused on real regional experiences.

The Overt STEM Awards are about recognising progress, sharing stories and showing what’s possible when the region works together.”
