A Bedfordshire-based accountancy firm has strengthened its community ties by sponsoring Leighton Buzzard RFC’s U11s team jerseys for the 2025 season.

Beansprout Consultancy, founded by Helen and Kevin, provides accountancy, mentoring, and coaching services to help business owners achieve financial clarity and confidence. The decision to back the U11s, the couple said, reflects the company’s values of family, growth, and community.

The sponsorship has coincided with a moment of pride for the club. On Saturday (September 27), U11s scrum-half Eilah Giles led England out at Twickenham ahead of the Women’s Rugby World Cup Final — where England went on to beat Canada to lift the trophy. Eilah has also raised more than £4,000 for rugby mental health charity LooseHeadz through her World Cup Walk challenge.

“Community rugby clubs like ours rely heavily on the generosity of sponsors to cover essential costs such as equipment, facilities and kit,” said Leighton Buzzard RFC chairman Lee Beaumont. “That’s why we are especially grateful to Helen and Kevin and Beansprout for sponsoring our U11s playing jerseys this season. Their support not only helps our young players take the field with pride but also strengthens the grassroots game.”

The partnership aims to inspire confidence among young players while showing how local businesses like Beansprout can play a vital role in supporting grassroots sport.
