Tesla has introduced its Cybertruck to Milton Keynes as part of a refurbishment of its store at Midsummer Place, as the electric vehicle maker refreshes its retail presence in the town.
The redesigned store presents a more modern layout aimed at improving how customers engage with the brand. The addition of the Cybertruck — one of Tesla’s most high-profile and unconventional models — is expected to draw visitors keen to see the vehicle up close.
The move comes amid wider changes at Midsummer Place, where several units are being redeveloped. Work is under way at the former New Look and Hollister stores, while hoarding in Oak Court signals the arrival of another retailer. New Look is also set to return to the centre, relocating into the former Gap unit.
Simon Martin, centre manager at Midsummer Place, said: “We are delighted to see Tesla unveil its newly refurbished store, which brings a new energy to the centre. With several major units undergoing redevelopment and new brands on the horizon, there is a great deal for visitors to look forward to in the coming months.”
