Christmas at Delapré Abbey will bring together festive dining, gift experiences and seasonal events, while the Northampton heritage venue also offers businesses the option of combining a meeting with winter wreath making or a tour.
For Milton Keynes employers planning an end-of-year gathering, the Abbey’s published corporate packages provide an alternative to a conventional Christmas meal. Its full-day meeting and team-building package includes room hire, a dedicated meeting host, presentation equipment, refreshments and a sandwich lunch, followed by an activity.
Priced at £65 plus VAT per person for a minimum of 20 delegates, the package lists winter wreath making and tours among its activity options. A premium package, at £95 plus VAT per person for the same minimum number, offers choices including cocktail making, cooking classes, floristry and wellbeing workshops.
Bespoke arrangements are available for smaller groups. Businesses should contact the events team to confirm dates and activity availability for festive bookings.
For those organising a private celebration or client gathering, the Abbey offers catering ranging from sit-down meals to buffets and canapés, prepared by its Executive Head Chef and the Hibiscus team. Its historic rooms can accommodate different event formats, with arrangements discussed individually with organisers.
The Christmas dining programme includes a festive seven-course tasting menu at Hibiscus, the restaurant in the Abbey’s Billiard Room, alongside Dickensian afternoon teas at The Orangery.
Gift vouchers are also available for experiences including house admission, afternoon tea and fine dining. Businesses considering presents for employees or clients can purchase electronic vouchers, while physical gift cards are available from The Orangery.
Away from the workplace, Christmas at Delapré Abbey includes a programme of events running from November into the new year.
The Christmas Fair takes place on 21 and 22 November, bringing together local makers and independent traders selling handmade gifts, crafts, food and drink. The Winter Light Trail follows from 27 November to 3 January 2027, with installations, soundscapes and interactive displays through the grounds and woodland.
Victorian tours and theatre performances will make use of the historic house, while Santa’s Grotto runs from 28 November to 22 December. Quieter sessions for children with additional needs are also available.
Alongside the festive programme, the charity is inviting support for the restoration of its 19th-century Stables as a community and wellbeing hub. Individuals can contribute through its Stable Stories name plates, while a separate Founder Panel Sponsorship scheme offers recognition for business supporters.
Corporate enquiries can be directed to the Abbey’s events team. Full details of the Christmas programme and corporate packages are available on Delapré Abbey’s website.
