Artificial intelligence promises to transform almost every aspect of working life. For businesses trying to work out what they can actually do with it today, however, the challenge can be separating practical applications from the noise.

Milton Keynes-based The AI Cyclops is focusing on that gap, providing AI training designed to help businesses use tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and Claude for everyday tasks rather than simply follow the latest developments in the technology.

Founded by Andy Jones, the business runs CPD-certified workshops for business owners, professionals and teams, with no coding or technical background required.

The training looks at how AI can be applied to tasks including research, drafting, administration and content creation, as well as the growing use of AI agents. Sessions can be delivered at workplaces, in Milton Keynes or online.

Andy said: “AI can seem overwhelming because there is so much noise around it, but for most businesses the starting point can be much simpler. It is about understanding where these tools can genuinely save time, support people and improve the way everyday tasks are handled.

“The expo gives us a chance to have those conversations face to face, find out what businesses are trying to achieve and show them some practical ways they can start using AI.”

The AI Cyclops will take that approach to Your Business Expo Bedfordshire at Bedford International Athletic Stadium on Thursday October 15.

Visitors will be able to discuss their own business challenges with the team and explore where AI could fit into existing working practices.

Alongside its training, The AI Cyclops provides consultancy, workflow automation, website services and ongoing support. It also operates a membership community offering further learning, resources and networking.

The Bedford appearance comes a day before the company turns its attention to some of the bigger questions surrounding artificial intelligence.

The AI Cyclops and Pink Mondo Media are hosting The Great AI Debate: AI, Opportunity, Threat or Both? as part of MK Tech Week 2026.

The free event at DigiTEC, Milton Keynes College Group in Bletchley, will bring together different perspectives on the implications of AI for business, employment, education and creativity.

Andy said: “The Great AI Debate the following day is an opportunity to widen that conversation and hear different perspectives on what AI could mean for businesses, jobs and the way we work.”

The event runs from 1pm until 5pm on Friday October 16 and will include audience questions and networking. No previous AI expertise is required.
