The MK Legal Walk will return to Milton Keynes on 11 June after last year’s inaugural event attracted around 100 participants from across the local business community.

The 6k walk, which starts and finishes at The Warbler on the Wharf and takes participants around Willen Lake, is being organised once again by Sam Redsull, head of marketing at Family Law Group, and Kerry Ransby, events manager at Woodfines Solicitors.

Funds raised from the event will support the Access to Justice Foundation, a charity which helps provide free legal advice and representation to people who would otherwise struggle to access support.

This year’s walk is open to everyone, not only those working in the legal sector, with organisers hoping to attract businesses and individuals from across Milton Keynes.

Sam said: “Last year’s MK Legal Walk exceeded all expectations and it was fantastic to see so many people from the Milton Keynes business community come together for such an important cause.

“We wanted to build on that momentum this year and make the event even bigger. The walk is open to everyone and it’s a great opportunity to support the Access to Justice Foundation while also bringing local businesses and professionals together in an informal setting.”

Participants will return to The Warbler on the Wharf following the walk, where refreshments will be provided by sponsors 3 DJB, Business MK and DNA Legal.

People wishing to take part can register online, while donations can also be made in support of the fundraiser.
