WD-40 Company has announced a formal partnership with Men In Sheds Milton Keynes, a local charity dedicated to supporting older and isolated individuals through practical DIY activities and community engagement.

The collaboration aligns closely with WD-40’s “Repair Don’t Replace” ethos and will see the global brand provide financial support over a five-year period. The funding will help Men In Sheds secure a new, more accessible premises with improved transport links, ensuring that more members – particularly those with limited mobility – can take part.

Men In Sheds offers a workshop environment where participants can share skills, work on hands-on projects and support one another’s wellbeing. The initiative has grown steadily in recent years and is widely regarded as a model for community-driven mental health support through purposeful activity.

“This partnership is about more than DIY – it’s about making a tangible difference in the community,” said Victoria Reece, Assistant Marketing Manager at WD-40. “We’re proud to support an organisation whose values are so closely aligned with ours, and we look forward to building something of lasting impact together.”

The partnership will also provide a platform for joint repair events, content creation and community outreach. WD-40 will use the Men In Sheds facility for photo and video shoots as part of its broader marketing strategy.

A spokesperson for Men In Sheds Milton Keynes said: “We are delighted to be the recipients of a five-year sponsorship from WD-40. Having already worked together on this summer’s repair event in Milton Keynes, we look forward to a growing relationship with a truly iconic brand.

“With our membership increasing and a relocation on the horizon, this support comes at a crucial time. It will make a significant difference as we continue our search for a new home ahead of 2027.”
