EMW has appointed Louise Whitcombe as its new Non-Executive Director, strengthening the Milton Keynes-based law firm’s strategic leadership as it continues to grow. The appointment brings more than 20 years of global advertising and communications experience to EMW, adding fresh insight into client experience, brand strategy, and future planning.
Louise previously served as Managing Partner at Ogilvy, one of the world’s best-known creative agencies, where she led integrated teams for major brands across technology, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, and automotive. Her background in customer experience and brand development will play an important role in supporting EMW’s long-term ambitions and continued evolution.
“Much of my work has focused on helping brands define their value proposition and ensuring it shines through at every customer interaction. I look forward to applying those principles at EMW, keeping clients at the heart of everything we do,” said Louise.
In her new role, Louise will act as a strategic adviser and sounding board to the leadership team. She will help to shape EMW’s long-term vision, enhance operations, and support innovation as the firm responds to evolving client needs. She describes her leadership style as collaborative and empowering, with an emphasis on bringing the right people together and unlocking potential. “My role has always been about connecting the right people, unlocking potential, and ensuring everyone understands the ‘why’ behind our work,” she said.
