Business owners from across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire are invited to a one-day retreat this autumn designed to tackle one of the biggest challenges for service-based companies — how to increase profit when sales are steady but growth has stalled.

The Profit Accelerator takes place on 2 October 2025 at The Grange in Milton Ernest. The event brings together four regional business specialists to share practical strategies on how companies can strengthen margins, improve pricing and build a more resilient financial future.

Helen, co-founder of business consultancy Beansprout, said many firms find themselves in the same situation after achieving early growth. “Owners often tell us that sales are consistent and clients are happy, but profit just isn’t moving in the right direction,” she said. “This retreat is about giving them the clarity, tools and confidence to take control of their numbers. It is a chance to step away from the day-to-day and really focus on building a business that works for them — not the other way around.”

Helen and fellow Beansprout co-founder Kevin will be joined by marketing strategist Joss from Spinks Creative and sales specialist Phil from Sales Geek HQ. Together, they will guide attendees through a series of interactive sessions designed to uncover hidden profit opportunities, align pricing and positioning with market demand, and develop strategies based on clear financial insight rather than guesswork.

Organisers say the retreat will provide practical takeaways that business owners can put into practice immediately, making it particularly valuable for established service businesses across the region looking to scale sustainably.

Tickets are available now, with a limited number of early bird places priced at £149+VAT.
