Local businesses are invited to a free cybersecurity event at Bletchley Park next week, designed to help organisations strengthen their defences and build lasting digital resilience.
Taking place on Monday 24 November, From Risk to Resilience: A Cyber Security Event is hosted by Franklins Solicitors in partnership with their IT Managed Service Provider Digital Origin Solutions. The half-day session runs from 12:30pm to 5:30pm and offers valuable insights for business owners, IT leaders, compliance managers, and anyone responsible for data protection and business continuity.
In an age where cyber threats are growing in scale and sophistication, the event brings together experts from Fortis Cyber Security, Thames Valley Police, and ethical hacking specialist Rob Shapland. Delegates will hear about real-world cyberattacks, the latest criminal tactics, and practical ways to prevent them.
A live hacking demonstration by Rob Shapland will reveal how easily vulnerabilities can be exploited — and how to defend against them. The event will also explore the legal and compliance implications of breaches, with guidance from Franklins Solicitors, one of the region’s leading law firms.
