Students at Webber Independent School in Milton Keynes are celebrating one of the school’s strongest ever sets of GCSE results, with 45.7% of all grades achieved at Grade 7 (A) or above.
School leaders say the results underline Webber’s commitment to developing future talent for the local economy, with pupils progressing to top sixth forms, apprenticeships and specialist training programmes.
Headmistress Hilary Marsden praised the achievements of the Class of 2025, describing the results as “a reflection of years of hard work, perseverance and a genuine love of learning”.
She added: “This is not just about exam certificates. Our students have grown into articulate, confident and compassionate young adults who are ready to make a positive impact in the wider world. These grades highlight their potential — but equally important is the leadership, teamwork and resilience they have shown throughout their time at Webber.”
Alongside academic success, many pupils took on leadership roles in school societies, represented Webber in sport, music and drama, and contributed to community service projects across Milton Keynes.
The school’s approach, which combines strong academic outcomes with character development and extra-curricular involvement, has helped to prepare students for the next stage of their education and careers.
Prospective families will have the chance to see the school in action at its Open Day on Saturday 11 October 2025.
