Oracle Red Bull Racing will open its Milton Keynes headquarters for a Red Bull MK charity run, connecting the local business community with a global fundraising initiative.

The Formula One team will host the Wings for Life World Run App event at its Red Bull Technology Campus on Sunday 10 May. The event will bring together employees, partners and residents, while positioning Milton Keynes as a hub for internationally connected business activity.

Participants will run, walk or roll around a 1.87km loop within the campus. As a result, the event offers rare access to one of the UK’s most prominent high-performance engineering facilities.

Laurent Mekies, CEO and team principal at Oracle Red Bull Racing, said the initiative reflects the organisation’s wider purpose. He said: “We will be hosting a Wings for Life World Run App Event on our campus, open to our team and members of the community, who will run around our factory for a cause that allows us to race with a purpose.”

The Wings for Life World Run is one of the largest coordinated sporting events globally. More than 300,000 participants are expected across over 450 locations, all starting simultaneously at 12:00 GMT.

However, the Milton Keynes event adds a clear local business dimension. It brings together staff, supply chain partners and the wider MK business network, while also reinforcing the town’s reputation as a centre for advanced engineering and innovation.

In addition, 100% of entry fees go directly to spinal cord injury research. This ensures that corporate involvement translates into measurable social impact, aligning with growing ESG priorities across the F1 team MK sector and beyond.

Milton Keynes continues to attract global brands, particularly in technology and engineering. Therefore, events like this strengthen the town’s profile, showcasing how major employers such as Red Bull MK can use their platforms to support both local engagement and international causes.
