Artificial intelligence, winning contracts and managing people are among the subjects on a six-session seminar programme announced for Your Business Expo Bedfordshire.

The event takes place on Thursday 15 October 2026 at Bedford International Athletic Stadium, bringing businesses together for a day of exhibiting, networking and expert-led seminars.

A networking breakfast will run from 8.30 am to 10 am, ahead of the exhibition opening from 10 am to 3 pm. Visitors can meet exhibitors, find suppliers and make business connections, with six free, 30-minute seminars taking place throughout the day.

Kerry Lewis-Stevenson, director of Your Business Expo, said: “We want visitors to leave with something they can use in their business, whether that is a new contact, a supplier or an idea from one of the seminars.

“The programme covers questions that matter to business owners, from how to use AI practically to how to prepare for tender opportunities. With each session lasting half an hour, visitors can make time to learn alongside meeting exhibitors and making connections.”

Michael Nagles of KickstartSEO will open the seminar programme at 10.30 am with ‘SEO in the AI Age’, examining search engine optimisation as artificial intelligence changes how people find information and businesses online.

At 11.15 am, Sheena Harris of Impact HR will present ‘Maximising your people to help grow your business’, focusing on the relationship between people management and business growth.

Chris Ivey of THSP will follow at midday with ‘Mind your business: why mental health matters on major developments’, bringing workplace mental health into the day’s business discussions.

At 12.45 pm, Amanda Wright of Yellowyoyo will lead ‘Creating a brand story people remember, exploring how businesses communicate their identity through their brand story.

Kirsty Maynard, representing Bedfordshire Opportunity Exchange (BedX), will speak at 1.30 pm. Her session, ‘Tender ready: where do you fit and are you ready to win the work?’, will address businesses considering tender opportunities and their readiness to compete.

Andy Jones of AI Cyclops will close the programme at 2.15 pm with ‘AI without the hype: 5 practical ways to use AI in your business today’.

The seminars will use silent disco headsets, allowing attendees to hear the speakers clearly while the exhibition continues around them. All six sessions are free, but places are limited and visitors should reserve their seats through the Your Business Expo app.

Visitors must first register for a free expo ticket. They will then receive instructions for accessing the app, where they can view the programme and book the seminars they wish to attend. The app also helps attendees plan their visit and connect with other participants.
