Woodfines has appointed Michelle Gimmi as a solicitor in its Wills, Probate and Lifetime Planning team after she successfully completed her training contract with the firm.
Michelle qualified on 1 June and will continue to work predominantly from the firm’s Bedford office, where she will support clients on a range of private client matters, including estate administration.
Her qualification marks the latest step in a legal career that began at Woodfines in 2022, when she joined the firm as a paralegal. Before that, she worked as a legal assistant at a London law firm.
During her training contract, Michelle gained experience across several departments, including Wills, Probate and Lifetime Planning, Family and Residential Conveyancing. The broad range of work gave her exposure to different areas of legal practice before she chose to specialise in private client law.
Estate administration has become a particular area of interest. The work often involves helping families navigate complex legal and practical matters following a bereavement, providing guidance through what can be a difficult period.
Michelle said: “I am delighted to have qualified as a solicitor. Through my training, the firm has supported me in developing both professionally and personally, and I am grateful for the opportunities I have been given. I look forward to continuing my career at Woodfines and supporting clients as part of the team.”
