Businesses across Milton Keynes are being invited to support International Women’s Day Milton Keynes 2027, with sponsorship opportunities now open for the event taking place on Monday 8 March 2027 at The Ridgeway Centre in Wolverton, Milton Keynes.
Organised by Women in Enterprise, the annual celebration is expected to attract more than 400 attendees, bringing together business owners, senior decision-makers, entrepreneurs, professionals and community representatives to celebrate women’s achievements and support local causes.
The launch coincides with the announcement of the International Women’s Day 2027 campaign theme, Progress Parity, which encourages collective action to advance gender equality and create greater opportunities for women.
The Milton Keynes event has become a regular fixture in the local business calendar, bringing together entrepreneurs, senior business leaders, professionals, charities and community representatives.
Previous celebrations have combined keynote speakers and networking with fundraising for local causes, including MK ACT and the Milton Keynes Community Foundation Women’s Fund. The 2026 event raised more than £8,700 for the Women’s Fund, which supports projects benefiting women and girls across Milton Keynes.
With more than 400 attendees anticipated in 2027, organisers believe sponsorship offers local businesses an opportunity to connect with prospective clients, collaborators and other organisations while demonstrating their support for women in business and leadership.
Michelle Theuma, chair of Women in Enterprise (pictured), said: “Why wouldn’t your business want to be involved in International Women’s Day Milton Keynes?
“This is an opportunity to show your support for women in business, leadership and our local community, while building connections with people and organisations from across Milton Keynes.
“For businesses, it’s also a chance to raise their profile, bring their teams into something they can be proud of and demonstrate their commitment to creating opportunities for women.”
The event forms part of Women in Enterprise’s wider programme of networking, social activities and charitable fundraising in Milton Keynes.
Michelle added: “Events like this don’t happen without the support of our business community, and every sponsor helps us bring together hundreds of people to share experiences, celebrate achievements and inspire the next generation.
“Whether you become a sponsor, attend the event or simply help us spread the word, we’d love you to be part of it.”
