Bath & Body Works has begun recruiting for its new store at Midsummer Place in Milton Keynes, ahead of a planned December opening.

The fragrance and body care retailer is advertising roles including store manager, assistant store manager, sales managers and fragrance associates as it prepares to join the shopping centre’s retail line-up.

The opening will bring additional retail jobs to the city centre ahead of the Christmas shopping period. Vacancies are listed on the Midsummer Place website.

Bath & Body Works sells products including body lotions, shower gels, hand soaps, scented candles and home fragrances, alongside seasonal collections and gift sets.

Simon Martin, centre manager at Midsummer Place, said: “It’s fantastic to see recruitment getting underway for Bath & Body Works, and we’re delighted that the brand’s arrival will create exciting new employment opportunities for people in Milton Keynes.

“Bath & Body Works is a hugely popular international name, and we’re incredibly excited to welcome it to Midsummer Place. Opening just in time for Christmas is perfect timing, particularly given its fantastic range of fragrances, candles and gifts.”

The recruitment drive comes as Midsummer Place prepares for further changes to its tenant mix and retail space.

These include the arrival of GAIL’s Bakery and plans for Urban Outfitters to occupy the former Barclays unit. The centre is also redeveloping the former New Look and Hollister units to create a new retail opportunity.

Applications for the Bath & Body Works roles can be made through the Midsummer Place jobs page.
