A Milton Keynes agency has secured a place on Network Rail’s national Creative Framework, becoming the first company from the city to win a position on the major marketing roster.
Stratos Creative will support Network Rail’s marketing teams with creative design and production across the UK rail network, working with national teams in Milton Keynes and London Waterloo as well as regional teams covering Eastern, North West and Central, Scotland, Southern, and Wales and Western.
The appointment places the Milton Keynes agency at the centre of campaigns supporting one of the country’s largest transport organisations at a time when the rail sector is preparing for the transition to the new nationalised Great British Railways structure.
Stratos was selected to deliver a range of creative services including the design and production of marketing assets, the development of digital, print and static creative, coordination with media owners and support for evolving campaigns across the network.
Martin Carmody, managing director at Stratos Creative, said the agency was proud to have secured the appointment following a competitive selection process.
“We’ve enjoyed being part of the process and we’re delighted to have been successfully selected,” said Martin. “It means a lot to the team to be part of where Network Rail is heading next.”
He added that the opportunity to support an organisation responsible for connecting communities across the country carries particular significance.
“Network Rail plays such an important role in connecting people and places, so the chance to support that work is something we really value,” said Martin.
“Being based centrally in Milton Keynes, we’re excited to get involved in campaigns, content and creative work that helps the right messages, at the right time and place, land in clear, engaging ways.
“How we work matters to us, staying close to our partners, listening carefully and creating ideas that have impact.”
The appointment also strengthens Stratos’ national profile while reinforcing Milton Keynes’ growing reputation as a base for creative and marketing businesses working with major organisations across the UK.
Martin said the agency is now looking forward to working with Network Rail teams across the country as projects and campaigns develop.
“We’re looking forward to working with wider Network Rail teams across the UK and supporting them, everyday, in every way we can.”
