The North of Tyne has the highest skilled workforce in the North, world leading business and innovation, research and development hubs in two universities.

Support for SMEs is available for business growth and fostering innovative processes to drive productivity resulting in increased profitability, wage growth and employment growth. Grants are available from £40k.
For larger businesses, grants are available from £100k to £1m for foreign or UK owned businesses.
Finally we have can signpost over ten green focussed grants to support initiatives aimed at carbon reduction.
