Medical recruitment agency wins government contract

Jul 10, 2013

National Locums, based at Linford Wood, led the Medic Supply consortium in its bid to the Government Procurement Service.

The Framework – used by ministers to ensure savings for the taxpayer – initially runs for two years. Medic Supply also includes other specialist medical sector recruiters Provide Medical and Medilink Consulting and is now part of a network of agencies used by government to recruit high-quality medical staff.

National Locums managing director David Cook said: “This is a terrific achievement, and a testimony to the quality of our team in sourcing and supplying outstanding locums and GPs, often at extremely short notice, and our ability to meet the most exacting standards specified by the government."

Founded five years ago by Mr Cook and his brother Glenn, National Locums won bids last year for two other Frameworks.
