    We’re currently looking for an operations support controller to manage our delivery and distribution operation.
    Monday to Friday 9.00 am – 17.30 pm (or by agreement) we are flexible on this
    About the role
    You’ll play a key part in our deliveries and distribution process; you will sort and organise magazine and leaflet deliveries. You’ll provide an outstanding level of service to our distribution team and internal stakeholders. You will be the customer liaison regarding all our distribution channels.
    This role will be a great fit for a motivated organised operational superstar who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
    Duties (include but are not limited to):
    · Identify and research new business opportunities via database maintenance
    · Maintain existing and create new delivery rounds using our online software application
    · Build rapport with new and existing distribution team
    · Recruit new part-time distribution people, send paperwork, log permits, deliveries, and collections
    · Consult with clients regarding leaflet delivery orders.
    · Negotiate, close and secure bookings with clients
    · Update records and capture call notes in the business CRM
    · Update spreadsheets, databases, and documents in SharePoint
    · Liaise with directors to ensure seamless processes
    · Develop and nurture relationships with clients and key stakeholders
    · Create sales opportunities for the sales team by maintaining database, CRM system, and handling leaflet delivery enquiries
    · Physical lifting of boxes of leaflets, packs of magazines, loading, unloading, and moving distribution material around. Occasional driving of company van to deliver/collect.
    · Achieve KPI’s

    · Consult with clients regarding creative ideas to help with their brand growth

    Person Specification:
    · Operational/logistics experience strongly preferred
    · Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
    · Able to build rapport quickly
    · Great customer service/relationship building skills
    · Teamworking abilities
    · Strong time management skills
    · Desire to work in a fast-paced team environment and enjoy the buzz and momentum of building a new role
    · Results driven and motivated by achieving targets
    · Hands on personality who wants to take ownership of responsibility
    · Capable of working to deadlines
    · Experience in using a basic CRM system

    · Comfortable talking to customers, distribution team and colleagues
    · Capable of working to deadlines
    · Full clean driving license preferable.
    · Meticulous regarding detail, checking and double-checking numbers, addresses, data
    · Very proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, Databases
    80% Office / 20% Hands on
    6 months probationary period
