It goes without saying that you’re passionate about working with babies and children, but you’ll also need to be qualified in Childcare, understand Ofsted regulations and have an excellent working knowledge of the EYFS framework and principles. Responsible and well-organised, you’ll provide an environment where health and safety are of paramount importance, be it from the physical environment and room set-up to dietary requirements and allergies. You’ll be a good role model to your team, providing a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care to the children under your supervision.
As a successful candidate, you will have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a nursery, post Level 3 or equivalent qualification and a thorough knowledge of legislation, including EYFS. We’d love to hear from you if you fit this profile and are empathetic, caring, and friendly. You should have a positive attitude, excellent communication and written skills, excellent planning and organisation skills, and the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents and colleagues. To share the same passion and drive as the Nursery Manager by working together to lead by example.
Salary / Hourly Rate: £33,000 per annum
