Lewis Scott pictured, South East regional director for government exporting body UK Trade & Investment said: “Winning business overseas is vital for the growth of these businesses and our economy. These firms set a tremendous example which I would urge other local businesses to follow.

“What they really demonstrate is the strength of exporters in the area and the positive impact exporting can have on their company.

"I hope the example set by these firms will see more businesses taking up opportunities overseas.”

UKTI helps businesses to take their goods and services into international markets.

Mr Scott said: “Boosting our export performance is crucial if we are to secure long-term  sustainable economic growth.
