ENERGY IN YOUR ORGANISATION training course

THIS course is funded by Milton Keynes Council as part of its Low Carbon Living programme.
 
It is available and FREE to Milton Keynes-based businesses and organisations, or those which have their HQ elsewhere but still have a presence in the city.
 
Energy in your Organisation is a one day training course provided by the National Energy Foundation based in Milton Keynes. The aim of the course is to help businesses identify cost-effective ways to reduce their energy consumption and carbon footprint. 
Topics covered will include:
  • Energy efficiency
  • Renewable Energy
  • Transport
  • Behavioural Change
  • Carbon Neutrality – offsetting and green tariffs
  • The energy policies of other organisations
There will be a strong emphasis on helping you develop a sustainable energy policy and the practical steps which will enable you to implement it in your workplace.
 
Other topics covered will include energy efficiency, behavioral change, renewable energy, transport and using carbon calculators. 
 
The day will also include a workshop, case studies and provides an ideal opportunity to network and exchange ideas with those working in a similar area.
 
Energy in your Organisation is suitable for those responsible for developing and implementing an energy or climate change strategy or those who are involved in their organisation’s wider Environmental Strategy or Corporate Social Responsibility Report.
