Energy experts unveil support package for sector innovators

The foundation is looking to help those businesses and entrepreneurs who are developing trailblazing new products.
 
It is offering an assessment of market opportunities, how future legislation and government policy will affect the market, research collaborations and future market opportunities. of research
 
The NEF can also help with finding partners for collaboration and potential funding sources.

The offer is available to all small and medium-sized enterprises in Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale through RE: Start Local, part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The project, managed by the Institute for Sustainability and delivered in Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale by NEF, also offers free workshops and tailored one-to-one support.
 
Workshops run to date have covered topics such as the Feed in Tariff , the Renewable Heat Incentive and the Green Deal and how to become a Green Deal Installer. 
 
The next workshops, on November 14, focuses on the process of tendering for public sector contracts. It also provides an opportunity to meet with Milton Keynes Council’s procurement team and find out how to become one of their suppliers.
