Chamber moves to confirm chief executive in permanent post

Mr Fox (pictured) has been at the helm of the Chamber for nine months. His permanent appointment has the unanimous backing of the Chamber board after the post was advertised externally.
 
Chamber president Silvia Vitiello said: “Colin’s appointment has the unanimous approval of the board, the wider voice of the business community and most importantly our members. We are now confidently moving forward with a stronger member’s organisation in safe hands.”
 
Mr Fox pledged to continue his work to work more closely with Chamber members and other organisations in Milton Keynes and to put the Chamber back on a more secure fiancial footing.
 
He said: “Significant progress is being made by engaging professionally with our members and stakeholders, to firmly establish a financially viable and sustainable business, with a clear voice of authority in the business community.
 
“I am delighted to be given this great opportunity to work with the board of directors and with an enthusiastic and motivated team. We are taking forward our plans to build a dynamic and successful Chamber.”
