Chamber appoints new chief executiveNov 14, 2011
He replaces Rita Spada, who resigned earlier this month as part of the Chamber board’s strategic review of the organisation. Mr Fox (pictured) takes up his post on November 21.
He is well known and respected by the business community in Milton Keynes, regionally and nationally.
He rejoins the Chamber after eight years as chief executive of Milton Keynes Economy and Learning Partnership, where his role helped to define long-term growth proposals for Milton Keynes working alongside the public and private sector.
A Chamber spokesman said: “His past experience and understanding of the importance of a robust Chamber is invaluable to both the board and the membership.”
Mr Fox said: ” I relish the opportunity to return to the Chamber at a critical time in the development of membership services in a testing economic climate.
"Our role as a member’s organisation is to meet and exceed the expectations of our members and assert business confidence, to define entirely transparent and relevant support strategies to assist companies of all sizes and embrace strong partnerships with other business groups moving forward.”
