Award-winning firm unveils plans for new production plantJan 03, 2014
Chairman Roger Bowden made the announcement to the firm’s 200 staff who gathered to watch Buckinghamshire’s Lord Lieutenant Sir Henry Aubrey Fletcher presenting the company with two Queen’s Awards.
Mr Bowden (pictured right) and managing director John Keely received the awards for Innovation and International Trade.
Construction work on the new facility is due to start this year.
Mr Bowden told staff at Niftylift’s Stonebridge headquarters: “The hard work and commitment that you have given has allowed us to build very solid and sustainable foundations upon which Niftylift will continue to develop and grow for many years to come.”
Niftylift is one of only a few firms to be awarded more than one Queen’s Award last year.
It has also received Supplier of the Year and Product of the Year awards from the Hire Association Europe, has been accredited with the ISO14001 Environmental Standard and has launched three new products with another new product launch planned for the first quarter of 2014.
