Firms finalise merger deal

The acquisition of Inskips is an important element of a programmed reorganisation of DLP and will create four divisions specialising in planning, transportation, design and environment.

Inskips senior partners David Eyton-Williams and Ian Davies will remain with the practice and have become directors of the DLP Group Ltd. The firm will continue to operate from its offices in Goldington Road, while its main office will remain at Priory Business Park.

Mr Eyton-Williams said: “The Inskip Partnership has worked with DLP over a number of years. With the merger with DLP we can now fully achieve as an ‘in house’ package, to the required level of detail necessary for each specific project.”

DLP (Inskips) Design also has offices in Reading, Bristol, Cardiff and Sheffield.

Managing director Simon James said: “The increased importance of design as a planning factor across a broad spectrum of developments, has made it vital that we offer this as a central and core element of our service.
“Our intention is to broaden the base of the company to offer a full range of architectural services, including building and site design historic buildings advice, master planning and urban design, and landscape design.

“The design company will be integrated within the new group structure.”
