The merged company, which will be called BCQ Print, will be based in Buckingham at Buckingham Colour Press’ state-of-the-art premises on the Swan Business Park.
Joint managing director Tyrone Spence said: “The printing industry is an incredibly competitive market today with massive amounts of oversupply. This merger has allowed both companies to rationalise their businesses, look at what both do well separately and then bring these strengths together, to create one ‘best of breed’ organisation.
“It is our goal for BCQ Print to provide not only an unparalleled range of printed products and complementary services, but also exceptional levels of service to our customers. This is something which is very much in the ethos of both Colour Quest and Buckingham Colour Press, and will certainly be at the heart of BCQ Print.”
BCQ has made several investments aimed at improving both productivity and efficiency, in areas including database management, e-solutions and mailing services. Mr Spence said: “We live in a fast moving, on-demand world, and it is our aim to provide a complete range of marketing services to our customers, from one source.”
