Accountants celebrate move to new office

The business has moved its 130 staff from its former base at Headlands to new premises on Kettering Venture Park.

The move follows Haines Watts’ decision to diversify from traditional compliance services such as accounts, tax and audit to include people and property service divisions.

This has driven the relocation to the new site, said regional managing director Chris Timms.

“Our teams were split across three floors and in separate rooms at Headlands,:” he added. “The nature of our business offering which caters for the various demands of the owner-managed business market means collaboration amongst our teams is critical to the quality of the service we provide to our expanding client base and the interaction we have with our clients.

“The new location enables this and also supports our positive stance on employee wellbeing where a well-designed office environment contributes to a healthier and happier workforce.”

Haines Watts’ head of operations and technology Rob de Main said: “It’s a fantastic space and mirrors our Northampton office, just on a smaller scale.

“We worked with Northamptonshire-based business ACS Office Solutions to design and implement the fit out, now being enjoyed by our Kettering based team and our wider regional colleagues.”
