Broadband network grows

Kimbells LLP Solicitors and wireless communication specialist Briteyellow have announced a new sponsorship agreement to expand the Britezone wireless broadband network now being rolled out around Central Milton Keynes train station.

Kimbells becomes a gold sponsor of the Central Milton Keynes train station Britezone. The firm which delivers commercial legal solutions to corporate clients across the region is a well established part of the Milton Keynes landscape.

Travellers using a WiFi enabled mobile phone, laptop, or Personal Digital Assistant can connect to the Britezone high speed wireless network anywhere around station square.

The Britezone network links subscribers along Midsummer Boulevard from Milton Keynes train station, via thehub:mk district, to thecentre:mk and Midsummer Place retail districts.

Alison Foxton, marketing manager of Kimbells, said: "A fast and secure free WiFi broadband network will enable travellers to access information out of office without the need to pay for expensive data plans. It is surprising the amount of information travellers can communicate while waiting for a train".

Briteyellow managing director Fredi Nonyelu said: "We are especially pleased Kimbells has become a Britezone Gold sponsor. It means that free access wireless broadband is now spreading across the centre of Milton Keynes."

Britezone coverage at the Milton Keynes central station square will be accessible from the growing number of bars and restaurants. The zone is linked to other Britezone areas already available across the city.

Kimbells’ logo will appear to every user when they first log on to the Britezone. Users are able to choose free access basic broadband or paid subscription for faster connection speeds.
