The entries are in as countdown to MKBAA 2019 continues

The event are already taking a large number of bookings for the glittering awards ceremony on March 14.

Arena MK has been revealed as the brand new location for this prestigious black tie event, an exciting move, which will enable organisers to welcome even more Milton Keynes businesses keen to celebrate local success.

Established in 2014 by Milton Keynes Business Leaders Partnership, in association with full service marketing agency Interdirect and event management experts Evolution Live, the awards recognise the achievements of Milton Keynes businesses and organisations of all sizes and from all sectors.

Guests at the awards ceremony will enjoy a three-course dinner, wine and entertainment, as well as an opportunity to engage with more than 600 of Milton Keynes’ finest business people.

Popular broadcaster and voiceover artist Faye Carruthers will compere MKBAA 2019. A journalist well known for her love of sport, travel, news and current affairs, Faye is also the voice of many big brands and narrates corporate videos, commercials and e-learning modules for blue chip clients such as John Lewis, Sky, Amazon, Argos and Disney.

The guest speaker for the evening will be Baroness Martha Lane-Fox, Chancellor of The Open University, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2019.

Pippa Loveridge, head of marketing at Mirus IT Solutions, tells us why she loves the Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards ceremony. “The awards are an excellent, well respected local event. We were delighted to pick up the Customer Service award at the 2018 awards – it was a great moment, and we were incredibly proud to go on to the stage and collect the trophy on behalf of the entire team.

“Being recognised as the best company to work for really does make a difference, not only for companies looking to work with us but also for us to attract excellent colleagues to ensure we continue to provide a great place to work.”

MKBAA 2019 will once again donate the proceeds raised from the awards evening to the trust fund established by MKBLP with the MK Community Foundation, which assists start-up businesses in deprived areas of the city.
