The free drop in event, which will take place on April 29 at the Ramada Encore Hotel in Central Milton Keynes, will pull together a range of support including free training, redundancy advice, help searching for work and benefit, money and debt advice.
There will also be free workshops on CV writing and promoting yourself to your best advantage.
Sponsors Milton Keynes Economy and Learning Partnership, Business Link, Milton Keynes & North Bucks Chamber of Commerce and Milton Keynes Council will be joined by exhibitors such as Job Centre Plus, Next Steps, MK College, Redundancy Counselling and Adult Continuing Education.
It is hoped that the event will run every three months to offer support for those affected by the unemployment rate in Milton Keynes.
Business Link partnership manager Julie Murdoch said: “Anybody out of work, returning to work or looking to change careers should attend this event. It will also be a great opportunity to speak to others in the same boat and learn from their experiences.
"The main thing to remember is that you are not alone. There will be lots of experts to help on the day to get you through this difficult time.”
The event runs from 11am to 2pm. For more information or to book on to the event call Business Link on 0845 600 900 6 or visit www.mkrecession-busters.info.
